The first day kicked off in style with models presenting designs of the big names in Indian fashion industry.
A total 30 designers are showcasing their creations in the second edition Bangalore Fashion Week named Second Edition BFW 2010.
Creations by designer Arshi Jamal, Vipin Batra, Ishita Singh, Amita Sharma, Swapnil Shinde, to name a few, were presented on thefirst day of Bangalore fashion week 2010.

An Indian model also presented a creation of designer Amita Sharma. Several models presented several designs by Ishita Singh on the catwalk on thefirst day of BFW 2010.
THe first day saw Swapnil Shinde’s gothic-themed collection. Shinde showcased exquisite western gowns sequenced with Indian flows and cuts. This specific collection was inspired by a lot of gothic influences. “But at the same time I had to make sure that it is wearable, and it’s not too over the edge and extremely crazy,” Shinde said.
Designer Rehanne also showcased her collection of evening gowns.
The second edition of the Bangalore fashion week boasts big brands, which include Shantanu and Nikhil, Abdul Halder, Namrata G and Ramesh Dembla.
Milanese designer Claudia Antonini is also expected to launch her brand in India during the event.
