Bhandarkar along with his jailbirds - Neil Nitin Mukesh, Manoj Bajpai and Mugdha Godse, walked the ramp as part of designer Reynu Tandon''s show. Interestingly, the three boys were seen handcuffed to each other. And that''s not all. Neil and Manoj sported prisoner outfits to create the curiosity around their film! Don''t forget that Madhur has made his successful movie titled ''Fashion'' not in the distant past.
They found out the best way to promote their upcoming movie. Manoj discloses that this idea originated from none else than the director.
He says, "In today''s world of marketing, the makers are more aware of ways to promote their films. Moreover, fashion and films go hand in hand now." The actor is very excited with such an applause from the audience (in the ramp), and grateful to the designer who got the look spot on.
Another feather to the promotion of ''Jail'' is the star cast''s visit to the Tihar jail in Delhi. Manoj seems to be fascinated by the way the jail operates. He says, "This jail helps the prisoners become aware of their potentials by engaging them in different activities like making handicrafts, yoga, and meditation." The prisoners are totally transformed when they come out of the jail, he adds.
