Camille, the designer behind the online brand Coexist, describes her personal style as feminine but edgy—Kate Moss meets Coco-Chanel. Influenced by Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, and Alexander Wang, she likes to mix and match her outfits without looking over-the-top. It’s always good to have one key piece in an outfit, she says.

1. What was your favorite trend from 2009?

Definitely the bold shoulders. Since I don’t have broad shoulders, the trend was a godsend.

2. What will you keep in your closet?

All my sequined clothes, my harem and dhoti pants and leather jackets.

3. What do you see as the big trends for 2010?

Layering of soft fabrics, draping and digital prints. Also, lots of neutrals and sheer numbers.

4. What will you try wearing in 2010?

Tasteful lingerie-inspired pieces maybe. I’ve pretty much tried all the trends; you just have to find a way to work with them.

5. What will you buy more of?

Shoes! Mostly high-heeled booties with architectural influences. And pieces with huge tassels! Also, I’d buy more of unique one-of-a-kind pieces and to go for more intricate pieces that give value for my money.

Lissa Kahayon, 20, Student / Co-owner of LoveVintageManila

Blog: http://www.chictopia.com/lissakahayon

Lissa, a fashion-savvy student of De La Salle University, says her style is unpredictable. She can do feminine, she can do punk, she can do all black and she can go experimental with loud prints and colors. Staples in her closet include huge earrings and daring high heels. With her fun and trendy outfits, it’s no wonder she’s gained a following at her online fashion site, Chictopia.com.

1. What’s your New Year fashion resolution?

To improve my poses. And save, save, save.

2. What was your favorite trend from 2009?

The biker chic look and the bold shoulders. There was an aura of fierceness to them and they really commanded attention.

3. What will you keep in your closet?

My collection of blazers and high heels. Can’t live without them!

4. What do you see as the big trends for 2010?

Goth meets ballerina, unstructured outfits, lots of prints and outfits with softer tones.

5. What will you try wearing in 2010?

I’ll try wearing outfits in softer tones—and ruffles even though I am not a huge fan.

6. What will you buy more of?

More corporate/formal yet fun outfits since I’ll be graduating this year.

If you’re on Tumblr, you’ve surely heard of Tricia Gosingitian, a talented visual artist whose blog teems with pretty photos and adorable set pieces. Her pink striped room full of Hello Kitty, Polly Pocket and Tokidoki betrays the influence of Japanese pop culture on her art. A fan of Japanese magazines like Pinky, Popteen and ViViA, she describes her fashion style as “sophisti-cute.”

1. What’s your New Year fashion resolution?

I hope I can get out of my comfort zone and be able to wear more daring stuff.

2. What was your favorite trend from 2009?

Boyfriend blazers.

3. What will you keep in your closet?

My basics and blazers will stay.

4. What do you see as the big trends for 2010?

Shorter-than-short shorts, make-up colors like soft pastels and ivory.

5. What will you buy more of?

Booties, peeptoes, cute dresses with ribbons, anything with ribbons on them.

6. Is there anything in particular you’re excited about 2010?

I’m looking forward to sheer, delicate fabric, lots of ruffles, full skirts and pretty girly bows.
