Hobbies are those activities done by people during their leisure time. Everybody will be having a hobby. Hobbies will help them to get rid of boredom. The art of coin collection is called numismatics. This can be considered as a study on this apart from a hobby. These are made of 24 karat gold and this is considered as an asset. Many people are now buying gold coins and whenever required these are replaced by any gold ornament or to cash. All the nationalized financial bodies are keeping gold coins as the part of their stock for customers.
Also there are some value coins that are used in the olden days and are not present now. All these are with the archeological department of the respective countries. By chance if you come across any such valuable old coins you can exchange with the archeological department for very high value where in return you can get money. Also there is some numismatist that is on constant search for valuable and they will be ready to buy from anyone at the rate decided by them. In fact coin collection provides lot of values and also educates people in many ways.
