When you are into a poster printing project, where should you really focus your attention on? Is it how attractive and impressive your poster is? Is it the quantity you put up to let more people know?

This has been one major topic of discussion in the industry for so long. Do you need outputs with good quality to make an impact on your target audience? Alternatively, would it be wiser if you distribute low quality materials just so you can have wider coverage? Apparently, these questions cannot be easily resolved. It is because many elements are at stake that will either make or break your endeavor. Among these are your objectives or what you want to achieve, what you want your output to be, and of course your resources – specifically the budget that you would be working on.

You will find in this write-up certain pointers about quality as against quantity poster printing. May this serve as your guide as you make decisions for your business venture:

First, let us talk about quality. When you say quality, you achieve excellence and class in executing your design, colors, layout and message. To achieve that professional and tasteful look, you may have to use paper and inks that are a little more costly. However, think of how you will impress your readers and how you will be able to leave that good, lasting impression. You may have noticed how classy-looking materials grab more attention than cheap-looking ones. So if your exhibit that touch of “magnificence”, expect more people to pay attention to your material.

Now how about the not so good side of quality? I have mentioned it already. If you opt for the best paper and ink, expect to pay a little more as well. So if you are strictly following your budget, you might be able to print a smaller quantity rather than if you choose cheaper printing. So it is all about achieving a balance between coming up with good designs (including the paper and ink) and a reasonable budget for your material.

Let us now proceed to quantity printing. Again, if you desire to have broader coverage or want to get more areas covered, you can opt for printing a great deal. With this, you may put up your marketing material in a lot of public areas and even “not-too-necessary” locations. You may not have the best but of course, more people get to see and read your message.

Nevertheless, what about its disadvantages? Simple. When you print cheap, you run the risk of looking cheap as well. If you care for your company’s image so much, you do not want to get it ruined by an unimpressive output with a message that does not leave any impact at all. Therefore, even if you put up a lot everywhere, you may not actually achieve your goal because people are not even paying attention to it. Your company’s reputation is at stake here. In addition, it is something that you do not want to put in danger.

So what is the bottom line of all these? Think about your purpose, your needs. If you are out there to make an impression, then choose quality poster printing. However, if you just want an important message to be known to many people, never mind the appearance of the material, then focus on quantity. On the other hand, if you want both and you have the funds, go for it. That would still be the best option as you produce extraordinary outputs while getting all of your target audience to read it.
