AHMEDABAD: More than 350 schoolchildren got lessons on ozone awareness along with hands-on experience at Gujarat Science City to mark the
beginning of a week-long programme to observe the international day for preservation of ozone layer.
Science City has also prepared a model of stratosphere depicting ozone layer as well as the biosphere, Senior scientist Narottam Sahoo says, "For most of the children, importance of ozone layer is a very new topic and this was a learning experience."
Students of Teacher Training College, Bhavnagar, and Indus Institute of Technology went thorough the concept of ozone science.
